Ultherapy is a non-surgical treatment that lifts and tightens loose skin on the face, chin, neck, and upper chest. It targets diminished collagen, which is the building block of supple, elastic, smooth skin.

How Does Ultherapy Work?
Ultherapy works because of ultrasound energy. The device emits ultrasound that reaches below the surface of the skin, targeting the precise area the doctor has identified for rejuvenation. When the ultrasound reaches the subdermal layer, it has a thermal effect that heats up the tissue. This heat energy does two important things: it renews the existing collagen while also prompting the skin to produce new collagen fibers in the months that follow.
Unlike certain other treatments, Ultherapy leaves the surface of the skin untouched. Instead, Ultherapy reaches deep below to target loss of elasticity at its source in the supportive tissues of the skin. This means you’ll have a rapid recovery without any negative effect on your facial appearance as you heal.
The Treatment Process
After examining your skin and discussing your goals, we will be able to recommend a custom treatment plan.
You’ll receive the non-invasive treatment in one of our relaxing and comfortable rooms. Gel is applied to the skin so we can glide the applicator smoothly across the surface. The ultrasound makes it possible for us to view the treatment area on a computer monitor. Once we reach a target location, we send a pulse of ultrasound into the tissue with the push of a button on the device. Most people tolerate Ultherapy quite well, although it’s normal to experience warmth or a tingling sensation.
Ultherapy Recovery Process
Get back to your day immediately! The treatment area may be flushed and red, but you can return to normal activities. You will begin to see really good results after 2-3 months, once new collagen fibers have formed.
