Most candidates are in good overall health and would like to achieve a more youthful-looking appearance without surgery. However, you will need to have realistic expectations about what you can achieve with the procedure based on your underlying anatomy. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend that you wait to have a liquid facelift, and we can answer any questions you have during your consultation.

Consultation

During your consultation, we will perform a physical examination to determine the most effective treatment plan for your needs. The type of filler you need will depend on the location of the fine lines and wrinkles you would like to address and whether or not you would like to address skin laxity and/or general volume loss in multiple areas.

Please come prepared with any questions you have during your consultation. We can also recommend additional treatment to help you achieve additional aesthetic goals, if necessary. Some patients choose to receive lip augmentation, jaw augmentation, and/or hand rejuvenation to enhance their appearance as well.

Preparation

To prepare for a liquid facelift, you will need to stop taking blood thinners. You will also need to stop smoking temporarily and avoid drinking alcohol. You must avoid chemical peels and abrasive treatments that could compromise the integrity of your skin, and try to limit excessive sun exposure that could damage your skin. If you use retinoids, you will need to stop temporarily. Our team can recommend skincare products for you to use at home to help you optimize your results.

Treatment Process

On the day of your treatment, you will need to arrive with clean skin, without facial products. We will cleanse your skin and administer the injectables to diminish signs of aging and reshape the nose. The type of fillers you receive will depend on your aesthetic goals and treatment plan.

We will use denser formulas to add volume to the cheeks, support deeper tissue, and sculpt the jawline. We can also administer neuromodulators near the mouth and chin to address fine lines and wrinkles. If you are experiencing neck banding, a thickening of the neck muscles with aging, we can reduce their appearance with injectables as well.

After Your Treatment

You may need to schedule social downtime, depending on the type of fillers you receive and how your skin responds. You may experience temporary swelling or skin irritation near the treatment area for a few days, and you can use a cold compress to alleviate discomfort. You should avoid excessive sun exposure to prevent fine lines and wrinkles from developing, which could affect your results.

Results
